Travel eSIM Settings Installation process, APN settings
This page is for eSIM settings. Please refer to the following link for physical SIM card activation instructions.
To use 4G internet with SIM cards, you need to set Access Point Name (APN) on your devices. General instruction is below. APN setup procedures slightly differ depending on your models of phone or phone companies.
For Android phones and your own pocket WiFi devices, we suggest to double-check APN setup procedures with your phone company. For iOS devices, you can simply install APN profile as described below.
Setup procedures
This setting is needed for Data transfer
Important Notes Before You Install the eSIM Profile
- The data plan starts immediately after installation.
- A stable internet connection is required for installing the eSIM.
- The eSIM can only be installed once. DO NOT DELETE OR REMOVE the eSIM from your device after successful installation.
Installation Steps
- Turn off any active eSIM (If you are using another eSIM)
- Connect to WiFi
- Issue eSIM QR code
- Install the eSIM profile
- (Optional) Personal Hotspot settings

- **Auth. type is set to “PAP or CHAP”. if it is not available, please try each auth type (CHAP only and PAP only).
