Our Home Internet Service doesn’t have a specific fair usage policy or a set data cap. While we can’t claim the data is truly unlimited, customers using typical amounts—like streaming, gaming, or working—shouldn’t face issues. Extreme usage, such as transferring terabytes daily, might cause problems, but we haven’t had any reports of this so far.
The listed speeds (10 Gbps, 1 Gbps, 100 Mbps) are the maximum based on technical standards to your home equipment, not your actual device's speed. It does not indicate the actual transmission speed up to the individual equipment used by the customer. Actual speeds may vary significantly due to your device, network congestion, or other factors.
For VDSL (100 Mbps), speeds are based on a theoretical maximum and may differ in practice due to various factors.
Installation takes about 10 days to 1 month, depending on your area and residence. If the installation is not for a while and you need internet, you can apply for a Pocket Wi-Fi rental until Sakura Fiber Internet is available. To request this, select the option on the application form or contact us for more details.
We use NTT East and NTT West fiber lines, covering most of Japan. Many homes already have fiber equipment installed, so if it's available, no building changes are needed. We recommend contacting us to check what's available at your residence.

The wireless routers we provide are tested with our service and require no setup (IPv4 over IPv6/IPoE). We recommend using our router, as we cannot confirm if other routers will work properly. If you prefer to use your own, we won't be able to offer support. You can add another router in Access Point mode, but we cannot assist with this setup. Please contact the manufacturer for guidance.
